How do you compete with a goliath?

Instructions:

All are expected to have the requisite skills for briefing, analyzing, and summarizing cases. The use of graphs, charts, etc. is acceptable for supporting your analysis.

You are to summarize the selected case in about a half-page, stating the central questions, or issues involved in the case.

*Identify the required business or management-related issues presented by the case

*Provide any recommendations or solutions to resolving the issue(s) at hand

*You must provide any supporting documentation or data for your analysis. What data/documentation revealed the issues?

*If you have used any additional resources, (textbook, graphs, charts, etc) you are expected to cite them appropriately

In analyzing and discussing cases, it is important not to become bogged down in unnecessary facts and the history of the firm(s) and the industry in question. While you do want to provide a brief encapsulation of the issues and critical facts underlying the main issues, the purpose of a case brief is to demonstrate your ability to analyze the problem(s) and recommend practical solutions. Provide solutions/strategies addressing the questions facing the firm and finalize your document with a conclusion.

Guidelines:

The total page limit should be approximately 3-5 pages. 

Please include the title of the article along with the citation for the article in your document. 

The article will be evaluated on: thoroughness of the review reference to other materials; authors and experts on the same subject matter the ability to distinguish between the relevance of what is stated in the article and what you have learned in the classroom or from experience the use of the prescribed format addressed in syllabus. 

Verbatim (word for word) quotes from the articles should be avoided. Use your own words.

APA 7 is required.
