– For contribution to the Columbia universty community, I bring with me the tradition of Vietnamese-American, as a first-generation immigrant. I learned from cultural traditions of my parents, especially my mom, who is a devout buddhist, we would go to Buddhist temple on major events to participate in cultural events there.
– My family belief is “if we do good things and helping others that would brings good lucks to our family due to the cultural law of cause and effect. So I enjoy doing volunteer and helping others.
– I want to live in Columbia university community with a wide range of perspectives so I can learn and contribute my cultural traditions to the diversity community.
