2022 Spring Semester

Requirements:

   *written paper must be a minimum of three pages long

   *body of paper will need to be double spaced in 12-pitch Times New Roman font

   *you will need headings for the different benefits

   *prepare a PowerPoint with a minimum of five slides (hit the highlights of your paper that      

     you would use in a presentation to a new/potential employee)

Benefits Package Project

Interview someone that works locally for an employer of 50+ employees about their work benefits package (include all of the following, but not limited to):

   *health insurance (include deductible, prescription plan details, co-pay amount)

   *dental insurance (include deductible, coverage breakdown, period benefit maximum amount)

   *vision insurance (include deductible, coverage breakdown, any maximums that apply)

   *supplemental insurance (include types of coverage available)

   *Retirement plan (include match information, max deferral amount, catch-up amount)

   *Flexible Spending Plan (FSA) (max contribution amount for medical and childcare if applicable)

   *Paid Time Off (PTO) (breakout into vacation, sick, bereavement, jury duty, and any other time you find) give me accrual information, years of service requirements, etc.

   *Cite your work

   

In your paper, write a brief description of each benefit and then detail the interviewed employees information under that description.
