JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT:
Consider the relationship between grace, sacraments, and the spirituality of love developed in the twelfth century. How do they go together to form a picture of salvation? Do you think this way of understanding salvation has any relevance for our current culture?
The grade for the journals is based on the following:

2. Integration: Evidence that you have tried to integrate or synthesize the material from different sources. You can demonstrate this by appealing to more than one source (lectures, primary sources, or textbooks). While you can use other sources or material from outside the course, this does not replace the material in the course.
3. Reflection: Effort to reflect upon the pastoral challenges that relate to the issues being discussed
