Hi Andrew,

Yes, you can do this, since you’re taking for history credit. Be sure, though, not just to talk about which facts are correct or incorrect, but also how history is shown or told/narrated on screen.

Labyrinth of Lies mixes fact with fiction, which is something we have seen in our class too (in Yesterday Girl, Germany in Autumn, I was 19). How does it combine them? Why do you think it is effective as a way to communicate history? Is it putting history into a spy-thriller form, or doing something else? You get the idea…

PS there is a lawyer who appears in Labyrinth of Lies, Fritz Bauer, who is also in Yesterday Girl! This is very interesting… you’ll see.

Not really sure if this would be available. A 10 page analysis of the german film Labyrinth of Lies. Analyzing the filmography and also the historical accuracy of the film. This is just a brief quick thought. Would like to know if a writer would have more information or ideas. Obviously would need to include the history that leads up to why the film was made. Including but not limited to world war 2 and camps. As far as sources goes the film of course but would need supporting sources primary and secondary to set the foundation.

As far as filmography I have no clue how to approach it but would imagine it would include shots, lighting, music, costumes and acting how accurate would this be. Would include certain shots.

Please let me know what a writer says.
