a) In a biotechnology company it is desired to produce 500 units of amylase for a client who needs it in 5 days, for the production of amylase, the company uses amylopectin and starch as raw material. If you need 5 times more of the amount of amylopepctin than of starch, how much should you put in each of the raw materials to produce the 500 units of amylase?

b) The descendants of a fruit fly is a number made up of two figures, which add up to 12 and in which the number of units is triple the number of tens. How many descendants have the fly? Assume that x = units and “y” = tens
