You receive 3 points toward your Module One Paper grade just for meeting the minimum paper requirements. Your paper will be evaluated using three of the rubric categories below. The “Explanation,” “Plain English Style,” and “Grammatical Accuracy” rubric categories are each worth a possible total of 4 points, where “Expert” is 4 points, “Skilled Craftsperson” is 3 points, “Craftsperson” is 2 points, “Apprentice” is 1 point, and “Incomplete” is 0 points. (The Synthesis category does not count towards your paper grade. You can ignore that category, as it is only used for Writing Program reporting purposes.) The points earned for each of the 3 rubric categories listed above will be added together to give a total of 12 possible rubric points.
