Your assignment is to write a paper of 500 – 800 words that compares/contrasts three types of characters.
FIRST, choose to write about Oedipus, Creon, or Jocasta.
SECOND, choose a non-fictional/real-life person with which to compare/contrast the characters actions and thought processes.
THIRD, choose a fictional/make-believe character to compare and contrast with BOTH your Oedipus-play character AND your non-fictional person.
Describe the characters and discuss what motivates them. Include a balanced amount of comparisons and contrasts. Refer to specific passages in Oedipus the King that reveal information about all three the characters. Do NOT summarize plot.
