Ben, you did a very good discussion of the opposing views on illegal drugs. You were able to highlight the main arguments behind each side. However, you did not do the required sociological analysis. You had to evaluate the kind of evidence presented (was the argument based on facts or emotional appeal? Reputation of the author, etc) as well as apply the sociological perspectives on these opposing views. This was too bad because the bulk of the points were on the analysis.
I would also like to suggest that perhaps you stick to one particular topic regarding illegal drug use. You can either focus on the benefits and problems associated with the use of illegal drugs or drug trafficking.
