Part 1
Please find at least 4 academic sources- none of which are Wiki or the ones listed below. A list of ways to find academic sources should be in the module as Resources. Sites like JSTOR and EBSCO are perfectly fine to use. Make sure you have used them and cited them in your paper.
IMPORTANT: You cannot use sources such as CourseHero, UK Essays, GradeFixer, SparkNotes, etc. (there are many others that I could list here that are the same type of websites) as sources for your paper. These are NOT academic sites.
Your academic research should focus on the artworks/film- rather than subjects the work might be about. For example: if I wrote a paper on Star Wars I would research George Lucas, or what films inspired him (like “The Hidden Fortress”) and include interpretations of the Star Wars story, not research on how stars are made or various wars in human history.
Your research should be more focused on Art History, looking in those types of journals and articles, rather than ones in Sociology or Psychology.
These films are works of fiction- not documentaries, so make sure you focus more on Cinema Studies / Film theory journals. Focus on the artistic message of the film, rather than scientific studies on people in society.
For example, a sample search in Google should use specific terms: Star Wars, Cinema, Film Theory, JSTOR. This way you don’t end up with results for wars in general or studies about the galaxy, you end up with search results focused on the specific film “Star Wars”.
The point is to talk about the film as a work of art exploring a humanities theme. I am not looking for how studies show what happened in the movie has been observed by social scientists IRL.
