If you are a merchant that processes credit card payments being PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant is desired as it is designed to reduce credit card fraud.  Being PCI compliant means that your business meets the criteria for (12) different items.  

Assignment goal

Learn about PCI compliance along with what a PCI compliance audit looks like

Assignment task

Use the attached document to learn about PCI compliance and then produce a document/form that can be used as a checklist to see if an organization is PCI compliant or not.

Assignment specifics – Form layout

Create a form that can be used as a checklist, based on items 1-12 found in section 1.5 of the attached document to verify whether a business is or is not PCI compliant.  The form should contain the following items:

Item

1.  A listing of all (12) PCI compliance audit points
2. A brief ((1) sentence/phrase) explanation of all (12) PCI compliance audit points  <–This detail can be listed under each item or placed on a different page/set of pages
   
3. Form checklist items – Provide a location for
   1. Marking whether each item is PCI compliant, non-Compliant, Not Applicable or Not tested
   2. A location to leave a brief explanation of why each non-compliant item is non-compliant
4. Form sign-off items.  Please provide locations for indicating:
   1. The date of the audit
   2. Name of organization being audited
   3. Address of the organization
   4. Contact information of the organization – Person to contact, their email address and phone number
   5. Name and signature of the auditor along with their email address and phone number

4. You may use the attached document as a reference but I am looking for a 1-6 page checklist, not a repeat of the attached document.

Scoring – This assignment is worth up (5) points as follows:

(1) point for sufficiently covering items 1

(1) point for sufficiently covering items 2 

(1) point for sufficiently covering items 3

(1) point for sufficiently covering items 4

(1) point for submitting a form that provides sufficient space for each item, is attractive, easy-to-read and contains minimal typing, spelling and grammatical errors
