Through the 6 steps/stages of planning a health promotion programme, discuss your approach to the programme.
• The 6 steps to planning a health promotion programme are: Step1: manage the planning process. Step2: conduct a situational assessment. Step3: Identify goals, populations of interest, outcomes and outcome objectives. Step4: Identify strategies, activities, outputs, process objectives and resources. Step5: develop indicators. Step6: review the programme plan.
• You are to show what actions will take place at each stage of your plan in your healthpromotion programme.
Discuss the sources required and the stakeholders you will be working with.
• Identify and describe the stakeholders tha will be involved in your strategy, E.g. could be teachers, health educator, nurse or councellor etc.
• Identify and explain how resources for the health promotion campaign will be used.
