President Theodore Roosevelt Biography Research Paper

For your second writing assignment this semester, we will be returning to biographical work. This time, you will be tasked with writing a short biography of one of the Presidents of the 20^th century. During the 20^th century, the Office of the President of the United States has changed as they became more powerful, not only in America, but in the world, as America took its place on the world stage. At the same time, their lives also became more public, and more controversial, culminating with the polarizing political situation of today and the controversies of the 21^st century presidents.

For this assignment, you will write a 3-4 page essay detailing the administration of one of the presidents. In your essay, include: which political party they were part of; what their beliefs were; their accomplishments while in office; any controversies of their administration; how their personality affected their behaviors and actions; and what changes they brought to the office of the PotUS or what their legacy as PotUS has become.
