Read the paper “Isn’t everyone like me?”: On the presence of self-similarity in strategic interactions by Rubinstein & Salant (link posted on D2L). Provide a summary and a critique of the paper. In your summary, you should describe the following in your own words:

  • The goal/motivation for the paper
  • The experimental design (who were the participants? What were they asked to do?
    etc)
  • The main results
  • Any remaining open questions (either because the experiment did not address them, or because the results suggest certain new questions worth investigating)
  • The critique portion of this question is fairly open-ended. Essentially, you should say what you liked and disliked about the experimental design (was the set of controls appropriate? Was something important left out? etc); whether you find the results convincing or not (and why); and what, if anything, you might have done differently if you were designing and conducting the experiment. Please limit your response to at most two pages.
