2) One difference between traditional activism and social media activism is that traditional activism often requires high risk, while social media activism often requires low risk. Explain what high risk is as it relates to activism, and then explain what low risk is as it relates to activism. Do you feel more people practice high risk activism, or do most practice low risk activism. Why do you feel this way?

3) ) In the article ‘Runner-Up: Malala Yousafzai, the Fighter,’ the author writes about Malala Yousafzai, a girl who continues to fight for equal rights in education so all girls can go to school. Please give a brief summary of Malala’s story, and then explain how she used social media to share her story with the World.

4) Naudika Williams, a young activist, is featured in a video we first watched when we talked about social media and activism. When Naudika shares her story, she talks about the first time she became interested in activism. She then talks about topics and issues which interest her and social injustices she wants to focus on. If you were an activist – or if you already are – what injustice or inequality would you focus on? What upsets you in the World and what would you like to change. Why?
