This week we discussed how peace can be achieved. Your book discusses the 4 C’s (contact, cooperation, communication, and conciliation) as a way to increase the chances of peaceful resolution. For this week’s board you each will be using these 4 C’s to analyze a conflict that is present in American society. For your board this week you will need to complete the following tasks: 1) Locate a conflict that arose in America in 2018, 2) Write 2-3 paragraph detailing the conflict for the class, 3) Apply ALL 4C’s and give specific examples of where each of the C’s was operating and how.
* Keep in mind, the conflict you choose does not have to be resolved. So you may find that part of the problem is that one of the C’s does not exist or is not happening in a way that would bring about peace.
