See the Word doc for instruction. The instruction says to use two scholarly sources, but it’s up to you. I have some sources in mind that I can incorporate into the essay later. I just want to see how other people would analyze this short video. Please use American Sociological Association (ASA) citation format.
Additional tips from the teacher:
– Look at the types of interview questions that are asked. It isn’t a “bad” thing to ask her about the process of her being hired, because it is historic, but you can just analyze how an interview with a woman who is entering a position as the “first” of something is different than a typical interview might be with a man being hired as a baseball team General Manager. What types of questions are asked? How does she answer? What are the stated (and unstated) assumptions at play?
