For the three primary causes of voluntary turnover (desirability of leaving, ease of leaving, alternatives), might their relative importance depend on the type of employee or type of job? Explain.

For employees that have KSAOs are typically in high demand and more valuable to other firms. That leaves open a greater desire for leaving, ease of leaving, and alternatives. Someone that’s in the computer field with a high level of skills will typically be in high demand due to a high need of employees for that field. For an individual that has a low level unskilled job would probably have a higher desire to leave, but few alternatives and a low level of ease of leaving. This would be someone that works at a grocery store or fast food restaurant.
