Eachframe in your storyboard should correspond to a single shot from the scene you have selected, and you should not skipany shots. If you wish, you can split single shots into multiple frames if there is significant camera movement or changesin the action within a single shot that you would prefer to illustrate across multiple frames. As a result, there is no strictnumber of frames that you must include, and you should do your best to show an accurate record of all the shots in aframe. You are also required to create three annotations that identify a set of three different techniques for each frame, and these should be accompanied by a short statement that explains what this technique is achieving in the scene. Some amount of repetition of techniques in a given scene is likely, but you should show your best effort to identifydifferent techniques, or techniques being used in different ways. You do not need to include direct quotes or referencesto any academic sources, and you do not have to create a bibliography.Your assignments will be marked according to the following criteria:Description – Accurate description of each shot in your chosen scene. Your annotations should document what youthink are the most important techniques being depicted in each shot, and the three techniques you select for each frameshould all relate to the corresponding frame that you have sketched.Analysis – Your annotations should reflect on what each technique that you have identified achieves through its usewithin each shot. These comments should be brief, but specific to how they are used in the scene you have selected.Academic and communication skills – The artistic quality of sketches will not be marked (basic outlines, simplifiedfigures, and rough shading is all fine), but your sketches should be your own original work. Assignments should bewritten using clear language and carefully proofread. Handwritten or typed annotations are both acceptable for thisassignment. You will be required to submit your assignment to the appropriate submission area on the due date by 11:55pm.
