1.) Emergency communications is a shared responsibility between federal,state, local, tribal and territorial governments. In 2014, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) updated the National Emergency Communications Plan (United States Department of Homeland Security,2014). Choose one of the organizations named in the plan; describe its purpose in supporting the plan and the significance of its contribution. Does the plan provide enough of a framework to produce a working network of emergency communications systems or should the federal government be more heavily involved in dictating the systems that should be used to provide optimal connectivity?
