This is a two stage funding process. The first stage is to submit a pre-proposal. Based on a review of the pre-proposals successful applicants will be invited to submit full proposals.
The criteria set down by the Quality Improvement Funding Agency for screening the applications are that the proposed quality improvement initiative must:
? be implemented in a health or social care organisation;
? involve co-design and/or public and patient involvement in the design, planning and/or
evaluation of the initiative;
? be evidence and theory based, and;
? have a clear measurement plan that is reliable and valid.
