Question

Please use minitab for the following tasks

Task 1A: employment status

For this you need to create a two-way table with a 6×2 design (6 levels of field of study – which are trades, design, health, media/IT, service, other; and 2 levels of employment status – which are employed and not employed). To find the real count for each cell of the table, use the number of students and the percent employed. Round to the nearest whole number. For example, the real count for Employed status in the Trade field of study is 25% x 942 = 235.5 = 236. And the real count for Not Employed status in the Trade field of study is 75% x 942 = 706.5 = 707Please note, we got the percentage for not employed of 75% from 100%-25% (where 25% is the percentage of employed in the Trade field of study.) After all the cells in the table are filled with their related numbers (or counts) then transfer the two-way table into a CrunchIt sheet (refer to Week 6 CrunchIt tutorial) and start the chi-square test.

Task 1B: salary range

For this you need to create a two-way table with a 6×5 design (6 levels of field of study and 5 levels of salary range – which includes no response). To find the real count for each cell of the table, use the number of students and the percentage for each salary range. Round to the nearest whole number. For example, the real count for $19 of less salary range in the Trade field of study is 45% x 68 = 30.1 = 31. And the real count for $30 to $39 salary range in the Design field of study is 3% x 21 = 0.63 = 1.

Task 1C: preprogram employment status

For this you need to create a two-way table with a 6×5 design (6 levels of field of study and 5 levels of preprogram employment status – which includes no response). To find the real count for each cell of the table, use the number of students and the percentage for each preprogram employment status. Round to the nearest whole number. For example, the real count for In school preprogram employment status in the Service field of study is 8% x 1378 = 110.24 = 110.

Task 1D: satisfaction with course content

For this you need to create a two-way table with a 6×2 design (6 levels of field of study and 2 levels of satisfaction with course content – which are satisfied and not satisfied). To find the real count for each cell of the table, use the number of students and the percentage for very satisfied or satisfied. Round to the nearest whole number. For example, the real count for Satisfied with course content in the Health field of study is 85% x 5234 = 4448.9 = 4449. And the real count for Not satisfied with course content in the Health field of study is 15% x 5234 = 785.1 = 785.

Task 1E: satisfaction with job market preparation

For this you need to create a two-way table with a 6×2 design (6 levels of field of study and 2 levels of satisfaction with job market preparation – which are satisfied and not satisfied). To find the real count for each cell of the table, use the number of students and the percentage for very satisfied or satisfied. Round to the nearest whole number. For example, the real count for Satisfied with job market preparation in the Other field of study is 76% x 2300 = 1748. And the real count for Not satisfied with job market preparation in the Other field of study is 24% x 2300 = 552.
