Task 1. Explain the anatomy and physiology of the circulatory and respiratory system, Analyse the interdependence of the circulatory system and respiratory system and critically analyse the effects of exercise on these two systems.

Write an essay. Your completed work should not exceed 2250 words (+/- 10%).

You must reference your essay using the Harvard Referencing system. It would add quality to your work if you use references from various articles and authors. Reference list should be on a separate sheet of paper.

Ensure you consider the following points:

1. Using a labelled diagram describe the structures and the functions of animal cell organelles ( cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi body).
2. Explain organisation levels from cell to human body. Include description of structure and function of epithelial, connective, muscle and nervous tissue. Use examples of these tissues in the respiratory and circulatory system. Use example of one exocrine gland and one endocrine gland to compare and contrast these two different types of glands.(AC 2.1. 2.2 )
