Week 16

This semester you practiced choosing a topic, asking a research question, doing a lit review with an annotated bibliography, considering research ethics, and many different methods to answer your question (i.e., your entire text is about one method or another; you even practiced some). You likely found that some methods do not translate well for some research questions while others work well for those questions.

1. Your research topic.
2. Your research question and how you went about developing it.
3. Briefly what your lit review told you about your topic. For example, summarize some aspect of the literature and how it told you there is either something missing from the literature that answering your research question will answer or connect something in the literature to answering your research question.
4. Discuss in detail at least one method in detail that you think will help you answer your research question and how it will do so.
5. Discuss in detail at least one method that might not work so well to answer your research question and how it would not do so.
6. Discuss ethical considerations for your chosen method.

You should have roughly five or six fully developed paragraphs. The point of the exam is to show me what you have learend in this class about each thing, and especially methods. Feel free to cite your text and materials, but citing and reference is not required for this exam.
