- What you do call this color (what is its hue—the name we give colors i.e. red, green, blue)?
- Why is it your favorite?
- What does it mean to you?
- What do you associate with this color? An artwork? A person? A time in your life? A historical reference?
- How does this color make you feel? What moods and mindsets do you associated with this color?
2.) Chose a classmate’s HEX#, study it, and find an artwork–any artwork, created at any time, anywhere, by any artist that uses the color (or a very close approximation)–and post a hyperlink or embed it into your reply.
- Give your classmate 2-3 sentences of context for this artwork (artist, title, date). Remember artwork titles are in italics!
