A synthesis is a written discussion that draws on one or more sources. You will interpret and succinctly condense the most significant content of both research articles together into one paper. This is NOT a summary! You are performing a critical reading and demonstrating understanding of the research articles—written as a coherent synopsis in your own words. It should not include your opinion or interpretation of the information. Because nutrition is a scientific discipline, this paper should adhere to the basic principles of scientific writing:
