Introduction:
You are working within the Event team at Coventry University College and have been asked by your manager to deliver an exhibition focusing on ‘Festivals and Events of Cultural Significance”. As part of this process you will need to develop a feasibility study to evidence the different considerations required in order to successfully design the event. Detailed planning documentation should also be produced in order to ensure event operations run smoothly as well as evidence such as marketing materials and floor plans to support delivery.
Your feasibility study must cover;
• Assessment of considerations needed to be acknowledged when planning for an event, taking in to account elements including, but not limited to, resources, target customers, marketing and finance (LO1)
• Appraisal of environmental scanning and its place within the event planning process, evidencing application of this process for your own event (LO2)
• Creation of planning documentation for the management of your event ‘Festivals & Events of Cultural Significance’ to ensure smooth delivery (LO3)
