Once you have read the scenario you will use the NC Dept of Public Instruction’s Code of Ethics and your text to answer the following questions: Scenario A teacher has had a terrible and exasperating day at school. He and a group of friends decide to go to the local restaurant for dinner. At the restaurant, he tells his friends about Sally Sue who cannot solve a one-step math problem to save her life. He goes on to say that she is a student with a behavior disorder so she throws a tantrum when she gets frustrated during the math lesson. 1) Has the teacher stayed within the boundaries of the Code of Ethics? How or How not? 2) What consequences could happen from the teacher’s discussion? 3) What would you do if you were one of the teacher’s friends attending the dinner?
