As a method to prepare everyone for your final term paper, this assignment will instruct you on how to select, and research an empirical or theory based academic article. We will focus on Family Business Review journal articles from which you may choose ANY topic you find interesting. Since this assignment may be incorporated in your final paper, you should find a meaningful topic that applies to the family business you will be auditing. The papers should be a minimum of five pages and include:
- A brief summary of the article and how this research will advance the study of family business
- What theories are discussed in the article and how does this apply to other family firms?
