The reviews should fully explore the theory underpinning and/ or illustrate how the theory has been applied in a specific context and whether the articles support/ refute the CB concepts/ theory in class. The Topic Report should comprise of: 1. A 500-word introduction that provides an overview of the the four reviewed academic articles in terms of the theory, concepts, themes and context. 2. A 250-word review for each academic article selected (1000 words). Point to Note: ” It is important to adopt a critical perspective by providing a description, analysis and interpretation and not merely regurgitate the contents of the existing research. A critical review of a journal article evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of ideas and content. ” What are the author’s central arguments or conclusions? Are they clearly stated? Are they supported by evidence and analysis? ” Is the research well-researched or is it unsupported? ” How does the research support/ validate/ refute the theories discussed in class? ” Ensure to provide correct citations for each article that is used in the report ” Do not reference the recommended class text Assignment Clarity Choose just one CB theory from weeks 1-5, 500 word overview and summary of all four articles 250 x 4 summaries of selected academic journals article i.e. how does this paper add to the body of work on the theory?
