Lesson 6 Writing Assignment:
Please answer the following essay question in your own words and own voice. Use examples from the textbook. You will need to cite your sources (i.e., Author, pg#) and include a works cited. The text book should be your primary source. Good essays will have an introduction, main body paragraph(s) and a brief conclusion. Please save your file as a docx or .doc file and include your last name as part of the file name. Please proofread your essays for spelling and grammar. Please read “how to submit an assignment” on the assignment instructions page.
How did Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg break with the philosophies of the Abstract Expressionists and what effect did it have? Discuss specific works of art from the text book. Include all identifying information. 250 word minimum plus a work cited section.
