Now that you have prepared an EBP treatment plan, you can speculate what it will look like for you in the future when you need to evaluate the implementation EBP into your clinical work.
For this assignment, you will propose and describe a personal clinical research process/framework for gathering data to evaluate the effectiveness your future clinical work. To do so, reflect on how you will monitor whether the decisions you make following the EBP approach have been successful? This may involve including formal assessment tools at regular intervals to track progress for clients. As you consider doing something like this, please articulate whether or not you plan to take some of the actions articulated by Clement (2013) about how he evaluated his clinical work. It could also take the form of informal conversations with clients about how they are experiencing the shifts you made. Remember that Williams et al. (2014) presented ideas for talking with clients about the EBP approach and drawing them in to the process. These ideas might be useful to inform your integration of some type of self-assessment. The goal of this assignment is to have you reflect on how you will know if you are effectively using the EBP approach.
