Question for Module-F Assignment
Like Wolf, we will work with a hedonistic conception of happiness in this paper.
Briefly describe two activities or projects (one sentence each). One activity should 
generate happiness but not meaning in life. The other activity should generate meaning 
but not necessarily happiness (in other words, this meaningful activity may not generate 
more pleasure than pain). Now, what makes the meaningful activity meaningful, 
according to Wolf? In answering this question, explain the main claims of Wolf’s theory 
of meaning in life. Another way to put this last part is this: What does Wolf think it is that 
makes a project or activity meaningful? Explain this to the reader in simple terms. 
Focus only on our reading and my podcast lecture. Do not use other sources. Why?—Two 
reasons: (1) It will lead you astray; your paper will be worse because of it. (2) Studying 
philosophy is more about learning to think than it is about finding-and-repeating 
answers to questions. If you use the internet to find answers, you will skip the most 
important part of the course (and, as I say, in my experience, your answers will typically 
be wrong
