Reflection on how students intend to integrate learning in the workplace. Students might consider one of the key takeouts from their Marketing Course is the ability to have an action plan for implementation of a strategy and tactics for elevating the focus and prominence of their capabilities and skills to those they seek to influence now and in future.

This reflection is on your personal brand and your intention to integrate marketing learning into the workplace.

Self-reflection – Reflect on yourself as a brand: You as an MBA qualified professional with Marketing capability. Conduct a personal SWOT/TOWS Analysis, that reveals your current strengths, work-in-progress (weaknesses), opportunities and barriers to implementation (threats), and this process can then aid your ideation of an action plan for personal integration of the skills learned.

Your task is to conduct a self-assessment of your personal brand as an MBA with Marketing capability, ensure that you are open, honest and reveal yourself to the reader. In this way, your action plan will have greater meaning.

Note: The grading of this reflection consists of your clear depiction of self-analysis and intention to integrate practically within the workplace. You can provide examples where appropriate. What we are seeking is your honest appraisal of your learning and a demonstration that you have understood important marketing concepts that you feel resonate with your learning experience. Providing academic referencing ensures that you review the literature prior to your reflection to reinforce the concepts and insights attributed to them and realised by yourself throughout the course.

Self-analysis of your personal brand (current and desired) (situation analysis) (50%)
Your SMART objectives (career and personal development goals) (20%)
A clear implementable plan that identifies each action, specifying who, what, where, when, how and why (and resources required) (30%)

Therefore, view it as a medium for demonstrating theory in practice for career and workplace outcomes where appropriate.
