2. Anderson worked for the City of Tampa, answering phone calls from citizens. Anderson knew that all calls were recorded, but due to an error with the system that he was unaware of, the system continued recording his statements after the call had ended. Anderson had made some negative remarks about the city manager’s office and some of the citizens that had called, and his employment was terminated. Anderson sued the city, alleging it had not right to record his private conversations with co-workers that were unrelated to city business. Who should prevail? Why?
