How is well-being defined? Discuss how social media and the Internet contribute to daily stressors and affect well-being. Provide examples to justify each point.
Summarize Seligman’s model of PERMA (Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment).
Traditional psychology has been built from the many theories from Freud, to present day. Consider psychoanalytic, humanistic, cognitive, and behavioral theories. This research is indirectly applicable to world problems, but is typically conducted to expand existing theories.
Applied research in psychology focuses on ways to solve life problems that directly apply to the society. It is used to answer specific questions that solve world problems.
Write your response in the form of a blog post or news article. If you are unfamiliar with blogs, you may wish to research typical blog formats.
In addition to creating your blog, submit a copy of your blog along with the link to your blog, as with all other written assignments.
Your blog must be effectively designed and meet the following criteria:
