United Health Group is an organization whose headquarters are located in the United States of America. It is located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. It is the main role to provide social insurance, healthcare products, and healthcare insurance to the public. United healthcare group is amongst the largest healthcare insurance group in the world. The organization serves the medical advantage market wellbeing healthcare. It is amongst the healthcare organization with the highest yearly revenue (Oswell, 2019). For instance, in the year 2018, the organization had a total revenue totaling $226.2 billion. All these revenues are a result of the selling of healthcare products and insurance services. They operate through the collection of the fee premiums from their able customers. It is said that they have a customer base of about 115 million customers.

Mr. Richard Taylor Burke founded the United Healthcare Group company in the year 1997. Since then, the company had been struggling to ensure that it provides sufficient and efficient healthcare insurance services to the United States public. Their goal of ensuring that their services are well distributed to the entire United States was made possible through ensuring that they have a reliable distribution network. The reliable network ensured that their services are availed all over the United States. They also have a wide range of insurance products that serves the purpose of the United States’ public.

The United Healthcare Group has always ensured that it dominates the United States Healthcare insurance market. That is the reason why it emerges to amongst the organizations with the highest revenue collection in the healthcare sector in the United States. The marketing has been made a core thing through its reliable website that gives their customers a positive and convenient experience. Their websites provide customer support services.  It enables every client who visits them to get satisfactory services, thus increasing their customer base in their competitive market. They also have some various online platforms that ensure that customers interact with their fellow clients, and United Healthcare group attendants. Thus, ensuring that their insurance services are well marketed and thus improving their services reach to the United States Public.

The Mission and value of the United Healthcare Group are to ensure that the United States Public lives a healthier life. This mission is made to be possible through ensuring the United States’ people’s health system is in a better working condition. The system is made better through the provision of better and affordable health care insurance services. People of various groups such as the aged, militaries, children amongst others get access to better services. The outcome is seen to be positive for their product customer base is seen to be higher every year. That is a clear indication that they have better outcomes.

United Healthcare Group is the primary organization of two different platforms – United and Optum Healthcare. United care is special for business health insurance. They specialize in providing health care coverage and benefits services. Optum Health Care is responsible for providing information and technology-enabled health services. Under a viable and quality leadership, the United healthcare group has also united with various small healthcare insurance companies. The corporation has enabled them to reach various levels of people.

The United Healthcare group had a revenue of $226 billion. That is a 12% yearly growth according to statistics (How UnitedHealth Group Makes Money., 2019). The Optum revenue contributed to over $100 billion, while the rest of the insurance services covered the rest of the portion. The full-year net earnings of the company were $12.19 per share, and the fourth quarter Net earnings were $3.10 per share. The United Healthcare Group had a $15.7 full-year cash flow for all operations.

The United Healthcare Group is composed of various staff and personnel in the organization. The staff is composed of the nurse’s practitioners, assistant physicians, and the physicians and other staffs that stand to take various positions in various departments. Various departments are within the United Healthcare Group Organization. Some of the departments that are in the organization and with the staff, as mentioned above, are; managing, marketing, customer care, and many other departments (Kroll, 2015). All personnel are responsible for implementing the strategic initiative in the organization.  In case of any implementation that needs to be done, the company avails the resources required to help in the implementation. The staff under that strategic initiative under the manager uses the resources both the finance and the human personnel to implement the strategy.
