Module 1 (The topic is Bonds)

Using Yahoo finance or another source of information, determine if your company has issued bonds. If the company has issued bonds, select the most recent bond issue and find the bond’s coupon rate and the number of years to maturity (when the bonds were issued). Also, find why the company has issued the bonds, e.g. to repurchase their stocks? If the company has not used bonds to raise capital, has the company used bank loans? If yes, how much interest has the company paid during the last 5 years? Try to determine why the company is not using bonds (message(s) from the CFO, CEO .).   If the company only relies on equity to raise capital, try to determine why (message(s) from the CFO, CEO .)?

 

Module 2 (The topic is stocks)

Using Yahoo finance or another source of information, find out if the company has various classes of stocks. If yes, briefly define each class (using the corporate charters or any other source of information available). Select one class of stocks, collect the end of the year stock prices (i.e. the prices as of December 31), and analyze the changes in the stock prices between 2015 and 2021. On average, has your company been doing better than its major competitor? Has the company been doing better than the DJIA? S&P500?

One-inch margins and APA style of citation (CITE ALL SOURCES).

At least 2 recent scholarly sources published after 2010; other sources could be your textbook, the internet, library, statistical data, etc.
